Core Operations
The Center focuses on three primary research pillars: the development of marine governance strategies, ecological resource surveys and assessments, and the promotion of environmental education and conservation.
The main core operations are as follows:
- Marine Governance, Promotion, and Assessment: Conducting operations related to marine "Three Lives," providing regulatory and management recommendations to central and local governments, assisting in building ecological resource databases, and advancing environmental and ecological conservation education.
- Marine Protected Area (MPA) Management: Planning and implementing management strategies and related regulations for marine protected areas across various regions.
- Interdisciplinary Research Partnerships: Integrating research capabilities across various fields to establish local and international collaborative partnerships in interdisciplinary marine research.
- Public-Private Collaboration: Promoting horizontal and vertical collaboration between public and private sectors.
- Campus and Public Outreach: Advancing marine ecological education on campus and organizing public events for marine environmental education and ecological conservation outreach.
